In the app: Settings → Delete account. That is the fastest route, and it is the same path the privacy policy names.
Without the app: email privacy@postnights.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. You do not need to reinstall anything.
Your device's own alarms and reminders are cleared by the app when it deletes the account. If you delete the app first, remove any that remain in your phone's settings.
One record: the fact that a deletion was requested and completed, keyed by a one-way hash rather than by you or your email. It is how we can prove we honoured your request, and it says nothing about who you were. Nothing else survives.
You get thirty days to change your mind, and nothing is touched in that time — the app shows you the date and a single button to keep the account. After that the deletion runs. If you ask by email we do the same thing, and we will confirm when it is done.
Consumer health data is deleted within 45 days at the latest, which is the deadline Washington's My Health My Data Act sets, and we notify the services that process data for us. We keep no backup for longer than six months, so a deletion reaches every copy within that window.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Apple and Google own that billing relationship, not us, and they will keep charging you until you cancel it with them. Cancel it in the App Store or in Google Play before you delete, or you will be paying for an account that no longer exists.
